I have quite a library of hiking guides, but this book is my clear favorite. It clues you into many spectacular hikes that other books miss when they focus on waterfalls and mountain peaks. I wish there were more guides like this one.
Only had a week to visit Washington State, and made the absolute best hiking choices using this great book! Information was right on about where, when and how. Avoided crowds and saw some of the most fabulous forests left in the NW lower 48.
