An exciting read that takes you back to the early days of a small town in Texas (Old Alton). It walks you through the history of the town, the people that lived there, the struggles of survival, and the tragedy that occurred to a Farmerand his family both on and near the Old Alton Bridge which became known as The GoatMan's Bridge. Read and learn how the history relates to the current day paranormal activities that have been experienced there making this one of the most haunted bridges in the country. I really enjoyed reading about the investigations and the things that have happened and was amazed at the pictures and evidence the author provided within the book. It definitely puts this bridge as a place to visit on my to do list. If you like the Paranormal, you'll love this book!
I grew up a few miles from the bridge and remember driving down there with friends late at night to catch a glimpse of the wicked goatman who haunts the area. It was interesting reading about the true history of the people who lived in the small town and discovering what really happened there so long ago. There is so much more to the story of Goatman's Bridge than what I knew as a kid. The evil that lurks there is more sinister than I could have imagined! Thank you Becky for sharing your work with the rest of us!
