Terrible book. I purchased this for entertaining ideas. Instead it's simply an advertisement for their properties. The title should be changed. It doesn't describe the art of entertaining at all. Sorry I purchased this book.

I am a flower designer and this book refers to flowers as an important feature, which is not. Very disappointed in this way.

Wonderful! I felt like I was revisiting some of my favorite vacation locations. The photos are exquisite. This book is a joy.

Had to buy this for school. I am SHOCKED at the number of errors. The first unit has nursing misspelled the entire unit as "Nurshing". Chapter 2 has numerous grammatical errors and the historical vignette keeps changing tenses. Chapter 3 misspelled policy as "polcy". Those are the chapters that I have read thus far. I cannot believe that this made it through editing, much less being the seventh edition.

Almost no difference from previous versions and as with many other college books hardly had to use at all. Glad there's such a great resource for renting these at a much lower cost than buy. Only needed for the 5 weeks of the class and even then once again was hardly opened.

This is the driest book on policy and politics that did little to inspire to action.

This book is falling apart! Why is this book being rented out when chapters 1-5 are no longer apart of the book?!? I understand that it’s used, but this is damaged. Not particularly happy with this purchase :/

HIGHLY LIBERAL text. Not everyone in nursing and healthcare is infatuated with socialized medicine. Universities should present a wide variety of views instead of being in the business of brainwashing students.

I bought this book and while preparing for my final exam I observed this book has some flaws . For example1.Pages 486 - 497 are missing2.After you get to page 499 the pages number counts down/ backwards.There are few more errors and these are printing errors because there are no signs of the pages being removed or altered intentionally. Unfortunately the return period has passed and this is very inconvenient for me.

This book needs to be out of circulation. It is coming apart. There are so many pages that are coming apart at the spine. When I received this book, I thought only 2 pages were apart. However, as I browse through, it is much worse than I thought. Amazon needs to intervene and have this book not to be rented. It has seen its better days.

This book seems to present one-sided views and opinions instead of facts on certain issues. That makes it frustrating to read.

Yes writers are funny men and women, Brooks included, but the Brooks antics, his massive ego, his lack of character and his boorishness is nothing to celebrate.

I loved this book. Author Patrick McGilligan tells a great story of Mel Brooks’s life and career. But the book is more than that; it is also a history of American comedic television. I’m a big Brooks fan and I couldn’t put the book down. But there is a darker side to Brooks that McGilligan also describes that is equally as fascinating as Brooks's comedic side. As a biography in general I think this book is well worth reading. But for anyone familiar with Brooks’s work, it is a must read.Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book via Edelweiss for review purposes.

First chapter listened to if the remaining are 1/3 as good it will still be the best book of the year. Gtg chapter two is on.

This is a nasty hit job. The author has virtually nothing positive to say about Brooks. He twists every fact, neutral or flattering so as to cast the harshest light on Brooks. On the audiobook, the reader is snide and waspish. Yech.

I was trying to read a book that was just not catching my interest when I saw this one. It sounded interesting so I figured I would check it out, and am I glad I did. Jenny and Ethan are a fantastic couple. Their situation was one you could see happening, especially if you are from a family with siblings that are step siblings to each other. I always thought it would have been interesting if one of my sisters and brothers had fallen in love. After all they weren't related to each other nor had they been step siblings since they were really young, they were well into their teens when our parents got together. So stories like this to me are not about taboo love so much as what could really happen. Maybe they even fulfill a fantasy, who knows. I just know I loved Jenny and Ethan. I loved how they fought their interests but never really wanted to. I love how protective Ethan was of Jenny even before he let his interest be known. They really are the perfect couple. I really love how there was little animosity between them. Angst stories can be good but they can get tiring too, a love story that really is truly a love story is very nice. And I felt that's what this one was. Ethan had his moments of being a jerk but not many and really not for long.Hazel Kelly is a new to me author but I am telling you I will definitely be reading more of her books. Five stars easy!!!!

NO There is a story running concurrently with the relationship between Ethan and Jenny, and it is how difficult breaking into theater is.This part and all that goes with it was what really won me over. Some parts are so socially relevant now. Not too in depth, but you will be getting the message for sure.Personally, this book had a lot to offer. The family aspect for both Ethan and Jenny was fascinating. I have to say, when some truths came out they were serious, but funny too. For example just blurting out "I read your diary" was hilarious. Then equally you have something heartbreaking, like Ethan's teen years. It's a series of stand-alone novels, which we all love. I am moving along right now with book 2. There are 4 more in this series and the author has 3 other series too!

I really enjoyed this story and it flowed well. Hazel Kelly is a new author to me and I’m glad I came across this book.Jenny and Ethan were were so cute together and I loved their story beginning to end. Her the shy, drama nerd and him the popular, outspoken golden boy, turned bar tender. We see how they met in high school and later on as adults in life.Everything was just enough- the drama, the chemistry, it wasn’t over done and the story was about them and how’d they’d fell in love at first sight and the events leading up to that.I look forward to reading more of Hazel’s books.

Forget it ever happened? What about if their parents find out?In this hot and steamy romance find out what happens in this forbidden love.

It's been a while since I've felt impulsed to write a review for a book, but here goes. Hazel Kelly, I hope you're listening... this story was stupendous! I mean that, and honestly I feel like I can be a pretty harsh critic at times. But that's only because I live and breathe romance. Love is everything. And Jen and Ethan have it.Roommates was a perfectly written story in an aptly named series of stories. I am beyond impressed, and I'll more than likely be found reading every other book in the series as well as more of the backlist over the coming weeks. That is after I reread this one.What really got me was the dialogue...not only between the hero and heroine, but the way they speak to their friends, their families...it really kept me hooked. You don't realize that so much dialogue in these kinds of stories is stiff until you get your hands on something that really flows. And I'm so glad this story didn't rely heavily on sex to get by. I'm sad the romance genre often relies on sex above love to sell.What an utterly satisfying story. Every little plot point got answered for. The tension and pace was perfect, and the setting and imagery were effective without going purple prose. 10/10. I'm officially a fan.And PS I found this story because Facebook advertised it to me, so that marketing strategy is for sure working. Thanks for writing a really good one, can't wait to read some more.

I enjoyed this story immensely. Ethan and Jenny are adorable together. Two crushes who find themselves suddenly step-siblings before they have even had a chance to figure out their feelings later find themselves sharing an apartment together. Their attraction to one another heats up until they can't fight it any longer.I would have given five stars except I was a little disappointed when they revealed the truth about their relationship to their parents. They spent so much time worrying about their parents' reaction I was expecting more resistance from them, especially the father.Roommates is definitely one of the better books I've read in a while. Likeable characters, great story, and just the right amount of sexy, taboo angst. I will read more of Hazel's work.

Although the book is written for westerners, it is not the easiest reading. However if you read slowly enough, it offers really deep insights into tantric psychology and gives not only theoretical but also very practical knowledge. For sure it will affect your life.

This book express in clear and not too much technical words the path of Tantra, giving the prerequisites (the 3 principal aspects of the path), a brief description of the process of death-bardo-rebirth and concise explanations of the generation and completion stages!Of course this is not all there is to know about Tantra but it is perfect to begin!

great little story book

Love the book, but am somewhat partial to Brittany Spaniels. Descriptions mentally put you out in the field with the dog(s). Wonderful stories. Also have some art work by Ross Young (cover). Great dog portrait artist.

Made me laugh and cry-and I realized that some of my dog's habits are innate to the breed. Great read.

It's OK. similar hunting stories throughout the book. Wish there was more about the everyday life of a Brittany. Not much else to say

My daughter is a fan of the Little Critter books in general so we got this one for the holiday. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that there is a "romantic" love theme to the classroom valentine day party where there are "special valentines" and girls looking at boys with gaga eyes...a little bit old for a preschool audience. Would rather they just have a typical class party where all kids exchange valentines with all of their friends.

My 1 1/2 year old loved the Mercer Mayer “Colors” book. She doesn’t care what these books say but she does love the Critter and his little friends. Valentine day gift for her, she walked over to her little reading chair and flipped through pages looking at the pictures, they didn’t rip but she is a gentle page turner for a 1 1/2 yr old.

My three year old loves the Little Critter, so I thought he would enjoy this as a Valentine's gift. He does, but it just isn't as solid as the originals. I think holiday books are too gimmicky and stray too far from the gestalt of the author's original work.Here, Little Critter is plagued by girls who want to be his Valentine. In true Critter fashion, he handles this clumsily. But I think the romantic antics are lost on small children. Like other holiday books, this one tries too hard to incorporate too many aspects of the holiday.

We love this book. Each page has lots going on in the picture and it's fun to look at all the little details. Pages also fold out to give ready a fun flap to pull out and look at.

Great Valentine story for the little ones. I got this for my 2.5 year old nephew for Valentine's day. He loves being read too, and I know he will love this little story. Book is well made, paper back. Highly recommend if your little one loves to be read to or is starting to read.

We love all the Little Critter stories. They are really cute, very silly & my son loves this guy!

Little critter books are the best. Give them as gifts to all the kiddos I know.
